Naples Tarpon Fishing Report

Well we had an angler visit this week so he could wet a line in our beautiful Naples fishing region. Roger came down all the way from Cincinatti, Ohio to try his luck and to see if he could fulfill a life long fishing dream of catching a giant tarpon.

That dream is a dream no more. His dream bacame a 140 pound reality when he hooked into the awesome tarpon you see pictured. From what I hear Roger is telling all his friends about this Naples fishing experience and who could blame him? This kind of trophy fishing only comes once in a lifetime for a man that lives 1000 miles from the closest saltwater fishing spot.

Is was my pleasure to take Roger fishing and I hope to see Roger again next year so he can try to top his 140 pound tarpon.
